Convenient to where I want to go

The hotel is nice, well kept, and in a convenient location. The room was very good with armchairs, tables, and other items. The breakfast included in the room charge was OK. The food/bar offers were limited. A bar was closed during my four days in the hotel. Other facilities seem good although I did not use them.

Booked this hotel for my son who is in Shanghai attending university, staff were very helpful and friendly facilities were excellent.

My first issue was trying to find the hotel from the subway station. The map from the booking sight was incorrect. So was the Chinese map app. No taxi to be found for quite some time. After arriving, the check-in line was quite long, as was the wait. However, they did apologize and seemed sincere. The room was in wonderful condition for not-brand-new. Quite good. It had a comfortable feeling. Black-out curtains truly are. Bed was comfortable. The cleaning personnel were kind as well as thorough in their work. The breakfast buffet was quite good with great variety, with variations each day. I don't expect people in another country to speak my language. However, I was pampered here, as all at the front desk I worked with did, cooks spoke some, doorman spoke some, and the concierge I dealt with was fluent (all in English). Pleasant neighborhood. Subway 10 minutes away, food and shopping, plus plenty of trees. I don't usually say this, but I'd be happy to stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. It wasn't quite perfect, but it was very, very good.

This was a beautiful hotel and we were treated very nicely. I would definitely stay here again.

Free to upgrade the room. The hotel condition is good. It is slightly far away from Metro. There are many shopping centers nearby. The breakfast is good.

Stayed 5 days for family vacation. Location is the best. Convenient access to everything including shopping, entertainment, dining and transportation. Very friendly and helpful staffs.

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Condition of the hotel needs an overall renovation.

Inspite of the inconvenience, but when brought it up with Jason, the assistant manager, it was promptly, professionally and swiftly rectified. It is but just right to put into consideration that such positive action be complimented accordingly. Highly recommended if you want a non-smoking hotel. Outstanding management team with very pleasing staff. Big quiet rooms with nice spacious bathrooms. They’re one of the very few hotels that give complementary water everyday and they also have one of the best tasting and very aromatic complementary coffee I every had in all my years of traveling! Located near several malls/shopping centers. But you’ll have to walk a bit further to get to restaurants and the station (15 min walk). You get what you see in the pictures. But it has a bit too many kinks for a 5-star hotel though. Since the hotel rooms needs bidet installed and a little renovation (it is an old hotel but definitely NOT worn down!) Hope they’ll fix the aircons since it doesn’t work as well as it should (had the temp. at 10C and all the settings set at cool +max but the room was still too warm for our liking) Will definitely be back! Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and memorable!
