Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. Hotel Pantheon was, without question, the worst hotel experience we've ever had. This hotel relies on its historic reputation to lure travelers in, then expects them to accept filthy rooms and poor service as part of the experience. Our room was absolutely filthy. Among other issues, there were bugs, stained sheets, and stained towels -- all of which I have documented. No paying guest should be expected to sleep in a room like this. When we brought these issues to the staff, instead of apologizing or making things right, we were met with rudeness and excuses. We were told the hotel is "old" and "historical," as though that somehow justifies poor hygiene and unacceptable room conditions. Historic hotels around the world manage to be both charming and clean. This one failed at the basics. What bothered us most was the sense that the hotel's reputation and historic label are being used to convince travelers to accept conditions that should never be considered acceptable. We paid for a clean, comfortable hotel room and received neither. If you're thinking about booking here, DO NOT! There are countless hotels that actually value their guests and provide clean accommodations. We would never stay here again and cannot recommend it under any circumstances. Left after 1 day into a 4 day stay due to the absolutely awful conditions.

Location is good. Cleaning crew don’t bother. They want to charge €5 for list key that was in the top. Lol

Incredible location. Central to everything. If this is your first (or second, or 100th) trip to Rome, stay here.

Exceeded expectations

Lived my stay there with ny daughter! It was right in the center of lots of sights.

Hotel is very boutique like. Can’t beat the location

We love the location of Hotel Pantheon, the rooms, the breakfast and the staff! Our quadruple room was great for the 4 of us and we had a nice balcony.

This Hotel was in the perfect location! Easy access to all attractions. Very walkable and lots of restaurants and shopping close by. The staff was amazing! Can’t say enough! Will definitely go back!

Clan room, and great staff - but property needs upgrades

Location is fantastic, hotel is safe and clean. Staff was friendly but unprofessional and there were a number of “oh by the way” events that were disappointing. Breakfast was small but satisfactory with a great attendant. Elevator was nearly worthless for more than a few people at a time. All of this said, the low rating is entirely due to value and surprise fees and taxes. The cost for the accommodation was not in line. Some friends stayed very close by in a nicer hotel for less money and we were in the luxury family suite. For a third of the money, I probably would have gone 4-5 stars.
