The Kendrick is a partially remodeled Days Inn with an attached restaurant, located in a cluster of budget motels on the east end of Flagstaff. The location and surroundings limit this "Ascend Collection" hotel's potential to reinvent itself by rebranding, but I found it to be generally clean and quiet, with most fixtures in good condition. My room had modern furniture, a modern bathroom and a comfortable bed, but unfortunately it seems that they have not gotten around to updating the HVAC units, because my A/C kept me awake all night. We are not talking here about an old HVAC that makes a steady noise that you can adapt to, but one that cycles continuously through different frequencies of noise, keeping you continuously alert and unsettled.
During my stay they were also going through a very disruptive parking lot resurfacing, with most of the lot closed off and the staff warning guests to park at the abandoned Denny's next door or risk being towed. I did not deduct stars for this since it is a temporary situation.
3 out of 5 stars for me because I could not sleep there. This would be a total dealbreaker if not for the other efforts they have made.

It’s a decent property, close to the highway. The attached restaurant & bar are a nice bonus!
The room was clean, but in-room amenities were hit & miss… shower product dispensers (shampoo, conditioner, soap) were all empty, towels were poor quality, and the coffee maker wasn’t working.

良い The rooms are very clean and definitely renovated although it seems like a bit of it was kind of a lipstick. The bathroom doesn’t look as large in person and personally would’ve loved a small table for the balcony. The bedding was clean and beds were comfortable. The staff was super helpful and the food onsite was a fair price. Parking was easy. Overall a solid choice for a weekend getaway.
