There is nothing "boutique" about this property. Our bed was jammed up against the wall which made it impossible for to access the bathroom at night without waking up the other person. The hotel and room were in poor condition.

Staff was very kind & the whole room was clean. Awesome location as well. There is occasionally a very cute dog who will be with reception, he loves a good belly rub. The rooms are smaller but thats super common in europe, especially if its not a chain like marriott or hilton (but the big chains dont have nearly as much character as the independent/ boutique hotels) 100% recommend staying here!

We find the location convient with car park nearby. We walked to the ferry port and sightseeing spots. Our room was clean. Staff was helpful. Things worked well for us.

Our stay at The Lane was excellent. The staff is helpful and the location is perfect. We would stay there again if we were in Galway.

Room was clean and had air conditioning. Shower was good, no complaints. Lifts worked, great access to downtown. I didn't book parking at the building but they validated parking at the near by parking garage so it gave a comparable rate.

Reception was super helpful with dinner suggestions and how to get back into the hotel. Rooms were small but it was nice to be any a couple of blocks from all the shops and restaurants.
