We booked a room that was not the best but Hannah sorted a really nice room that was much better. She was a great help and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks

You can definitely see the grandeur of the past - but property is in need of renovation. Good food and service, welcoming reception - but when you get in the room, you feel a bit disappointed. Understandable, the renovation of the resort will come with a price - but it needs one. Having single glazed windows and no heat pump in Winter is mediocre, to say politely. Surely it is a good place in warm season, with perfect location and amenities. Overall pretty good place, but requires work.

Staff was great at exceeding expectations, however the property is very run down

Not impressed that they let people into their restaurant wearing Red Band gumboots!

Staff were very helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Room was nice, comfy beds. Dinner was nice in the restaurant. Easy parking outside.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Room was large and beds comfortable. The breakfast was nice but a bit pricey considering the selection. Overall we have a pleasant stay.

clean room, friendly staff, great outdoor hot pool

Clean and tidy room, efficient check in. Lovely warm pool to have a dip in. A good place to stay and break the trip to Auckland.

A little dated but still an awesome resort to relax in - every thing you need at hand - golf course across the road, gym, spa pool and choice of 2 pools. The on-site beauty services are excellent.
