Clean Room, shower offering shampoo, conditioner and soap (but bring your own towel). Good breakfast and very useful laundry service (15.000 pesos as of Spring 2026). The restaurant offers lunchboxes (viandas) for excursions. Helpful and available staff. Large lockers.

Rooms are a bit shabby, as one expects from a hostel, but the staff goes above and beyond. Facilities are great, with travel and trekking assistance provided. Plus the prepared is far better than anything one typically gets from a hostel. Bit of a walk across unlit dirt roads from the main center, coming back is all uphill, but otherwise a great place to stay!

Great location, knowledgeable staff, comfy beds and good public space. Extras - laundry service, taxi and travel bookings make this a good spot. Basic breakfast included but can add eggs for a cheap fee. Would recommend this spot. We are older travelers and enjoy the younger vibe.

I had a really great stay at America del Sur Hostel El Calafate! The place was nice, had a great vibe, and I genuinely enjoyed my time there. Would happily stay again.

最高 Amazing hostel! Great vibes, super nice staff, and beautiful views! They helped us book activities and gave great recs for food in town which is a short walk away. Will be coming back
