Location is unbeatable and staff very helpful. Parking can be a challenge.

For an older hotel it was extremely clean and nostalgic . I would stay there again.

You paying for the location . Other than that , accommodations are basic and dated. The ice machine ,AC in our room and furniture broken . Staff was helpful to at least change our room , but not a fun experience moving everything over at 9pm after a long day .

Parking is limited, so unless you’re lucky, it can be difficult to find a parking space close to the lodge. There is no microwave in the room. It would have been more convenient if there had been a microwave available in the lodge’s lounge or another common area. The view from in front of the lodge was stunning, both during the day and at night under the stars.

Great location - right on the rim. The rooms were perfect. right next to el tovar and bright angel lodge. not to far from bright angel trail and the shuttle. Parking can be an issue depending on the time as we got lucky.

This lodge was nicer than some of the others I have stayed at the National Parks. It was clean and staff was great. The view from our lodge was really nice being so close to the Grand Canyon. I highly recommend this lodge. The only drawback is parking. It’s survival of the fittest to find a good spot or you have to shuttle or walk a mile back to your room. Go on a weekday to get a better parking spot and just don’t leave your parking spot, ever! I hope this helps. Great place, terrible parking. Unless you find a great spot close to your room.
