春日の湯　ドーミーイン後楽園 (Dormy Inn Korakuen)

Overall we had a good stay. My qualms were 1. the lobby was on the second floor and we called the hotel and got really confused by the front desk person who answered and 2. there is a men’s/women’s hostel type situation on the 2nd floor and you can only go up to the main room levels with your key card and I’m pretty sure a man who was staying in the hostels followed me up to floor 9. I felt completely comfortable barre that interaction. The breakfast was great. There was a little lounge area with tons of comic books, massage chair, vending machine, microwave, and restrooms, as well as laundry services and onsen spa. We also indulged in the free yogurt drink and ice pops daily. Location was very close to a lot of main subway stations.

We stayed at this facility for a week while exploring Tokyo. We picked this hotel for its price and proximity to the subways/trains. The room itself was small, but totally manageable for two people and their luggage. We loved having a Lawson's just outside the hotel, too. That was extremely convenient. The staff was nice, but as for helpfulness, it entirely depends on who's managing the desk. We tried asking about luggage transfer services one night and the staff knew nothing. Tried again the next morning and got answers. It was a good stay for the most part. We did love the proximity it had to Tokyo Dome City as there were BTS festivities happening while we were visiting.

The air conditioning was good but the lighting in the room were too dark.

Clean room and onsen. The location was nice and quiet. Good breakfast options. Also walking distance to a donki that's not extremely busy with tourists like the one in shibuya. The only caveat for me was they don't offer luggage delivery to my next destination but staff did instruct me to use the Lawson right next to the hotel to mail my luggage.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Dormy Inn Korakuen and look forward to staying here again! The room was clean, staff was very polite and helpful, onsen was relaxing, and breakfast was fresh and delicious every day. There were plenty of washer and dryers to use for laundry and having the manga room to wait in was a nice touch. Free late night ramen and popsicles were also fun.

Rooms were clean, the front desk helpful and generous. We loved the onsen and quiet location.

Stayed here 5 nights. The onsen was great and the free midnight ramen was a nice touch — definitely the highlights. The room was quite small, which is expected in Tokyo, but not being able to open a window made it feel stuffy and uncomfortable at times. Breakfast was not worth the 2,000 yen per person, which is why I cancelled it after the first day. Also worth noting for international travelers — if you make changes to your booking, currency exchange differences on refunds and recharges will leave you paying more overall, which was frustrating. After I cancelled my breakfast, I ended up paying much more than if I haven't made any changes. The staff does not speak English but they are polite and use a portable translator, so you can get by. Overall, decent stay for the amenities, but a few things would make me think twice before booking again.

Onsen was great. Staff and room - excellent. Would stay again.
