good location, nice meals, rooms need an update

Great hotel, but slow service at the restaurant

The hotel is very nice, very clean. I like very much this hotel. I stay here not first time. The breakfast is very nice.

Lovely hotel. The room was good, very clean. The only downside was that there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and everything was freshly made. The room was warm and comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. We will return.

Very peaceful, quiet & clean, good location out of town with rail link next door. Good food. Reception staff helpful but not particularly welcoming & room would be great if it had tea/coffee facilities not just a mini bar. Great place for a mini break

Easy to find and well maintained grounds. Interior very clean but a little dated in appearance

I was pretty content, although I experienced the morning person at the reception (blond, long eye lashes) as arrogant and little welcoming. The other receptionist was friendly, though. And breakfast eggs should be hot or at least relatively warm. Atmosphere in breakfast room could be friendlier, if some background music were played.

The hotel is well situated for travel to the Dusseldorf and Duisburg areas. It is peaceful and quiet for the most part, and set back in a nice park area. The on-site restaurant and breakfast is one of the better ones that I've experienced on my business travel. Plenty of parking, and good access to the motorway links. The staff are always friendly and helpful. This isn't a Sheraton, Marriott etc, but is a good, mid-range hotel in the area. A/C isn't brilliant, so the rooms can become a bit uncomfortable in extremely warm weather.

For a business trip, this hotel did exactly what was necessary, without wowing me. The hotel was clean, well-appointed, had a good restaurant and nice views. It wasn't exceptional, but for the price paid, it was very fair, and met my expectations.
