We absolutely loved our stay! The room was large, clean, close to everything you need and more. We will definately be back to stay. Highly recommend!

The room was spacious, but i feel like there was something missing from our stay.

Maybe it’s because I’ve gotten used to the extreme cleanliness of Japanese Hotels but this hotel was incredibly filthy in comparison. There were stains and hair all over the carpet. There was a vacuum that they gave to be used to clean during your stay shared with the rest of the floor but it was basically useless and wouldn’t pick up a single pice of hair or trash. The sticky pad that was available had a bunch of hair clumped on the handle. The rooms are quite large but the layout is not good. The kitchen sink is in the middle of the bathroom sink and bathtub and there is very little counter space. It is close to a convenience store, many restaurants, and Kyoto Station so the location is great but nothing else is.

The room was clean and everything was functional. Japanese style room was simple but aesthetic. I just hoped the public bath onsite was functioning and that would’ve been perfect. Otherwise no complaints. I will come back again and stay here.

We loved our time here! The room was actually pretty spacious compared to other hotels on our Japan trip around the same price point. It was nice to have a little kitchenette for tea and heating up food as well. Close by to A LOT of great food, activities and a park. It’s also a short walk from Kyoto station. The Resy team was very quick to communicate and give us anything we needed when we asked for it :) Would stay here again!

The room was pretty small and the kitchen area, which had to double as a bathroom sink since it was the only large sink with counter space and a mirror, was in a tight corner of the room and felt awkward to use. There was a fridge, toaster oven, and slippers which was nice! No provided pajamas unfortunately. Also no cleaning by staff and no staff on site. You check into an office like 5 minute walk away and let yourself into the property. Be careful when luggage forwarding to send your luggage to the check in office and not the actual address of where you will be staying.

Small but workable, bathroom was great just a few towels short.
