Clean and quiet room

An excellent hotel with beautiful, well maintained facilities.

Not well maintained compared to to other fairmonts . Staff did not seem to willing to help beyond their duties

Overall as the norm for the MacDonald fantastic.

Rooms are overpriced and the size doesn’t match what you see on internet. I believe l was charged for a bigger room and put me in regular room. Anyway the place looks cool, majority of the staff members are nice. Was a good experience but l don’t think lm coming back again.

Fairmont Hotel Macdonald is an average hotel overall. The rooms were clean and well maintained, but the service left a lot to be desired. On arrival, the front desk staff weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming, and the concierge wasn’t especially helpful. On departure, however, the experience was much warmer, and Hendriks, the hotel’s canine ambassador, was an absolute gem and a highlight of the stay. It’s a decent place to stay if you’re looking for a clean room, but don’t expect exceptional service or a standout luxury experience.

Great place to stay, rooms newly renovated, clean amd spacious. Only misses we found was on check-in the front desk staff person was a little gruff and hurried with us, she seemed busy with other things on her mind. The other issue was the breakfast service lacking the standard of a fairmont, slow service and customer confusion, our toast arrived 15 mins beforehand and stone cold by the time rest of breakfast arrived. Server cannot be faulted but definitely we understand the kitchen is far away during construction, but the prices are still full mark so disappointing this was an excuse. As a result the omelette when it finally arrived was quite dry and underwhelming. They took off bill which was considerate and apologetic. Also no HP sauce interesting but not a big deal. We will return as our go to but may go JW as service levels mixed on this visit.

Amazing! Staff so wonderful. Property beautiful. Food delicious. Massage amazing. Such a luxurious and relaxing reset!
