The restaurant on the property was great to have.

Not as good as when I stayed a couple of years ago. The room wasn’t very clean and the shower gel and shampoo had run out and not been replaced. Was quite musty smelling which wasn’t great for hayfever. Was quite disappointed.

The presentation made you go wow when you walked in.

Nice cabin setting with an outdoor deck with a large table and a natural view. Large rooms, well appointed for travelling. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good.

The decor was carefully restored to an early 1900 era. The staff was friendly. We were not aware that our room would be across the road but the key issue was that our suite (Seddon) had a musty smell more pronounced in the main area . We were not able to use that room and kept the bedroom door closed.

Room and adjacent living room were great and cool antique furnishings. Food at restaurant was delicious for dinner. Breakfast was okay. Staff extremely nice and accomodating. Loved the huge footed tub. Not crazy about the trucks going by our bedroom window on the main road. Might be good to reconfigure so bed on other side of wall and seating area on the street side.

Rooms although a little cramped were clean and tidy

Unique room with lovely features. Comfy bed & large bathroom. Only negative was the size of the hand basin in the bathroom.
