ダブルツリー バイ ヒルトン 台北中山 (DoubleTree by Hilton Taipei Zhongshan)

Convenient location. Many food options. The more contemporary Taipei is in the front part of the hotel. The older Taipei at the back. There is a grocery store on one of the smaller alleys, at the back of the hotel. The hotel room is spacious. Interestingly, there is a glass window between the bathtub and the rest of the bedroom - a handy motorized shade (operate using a button at the side of the sink) can be utilized for privacy.

We booked through Expedia with the intent that breakfast was included per room. We booked 3 rooms, 2 guest per room. Confirmation explicitly stated breakfast included with the rooms. Upon checking in, we were notified my 16 year does not have breakfast included, yet my 18 year does. Even after I showed them the confirmation in writing, they did not honour the deal. Because of this poor decision, we are now reluctant to book through Expedia and even more disappointed that no not stepped up rectify the problem. So 5 out of 6 of us got breakfast, and we had to pay addition for my 16 year old. At the end of the day, no one took ownership of this error and accused the other of not doing anything about it. This is extremely disappointing and such poor customer service. We have used Expedia for many of our vacations and Hilton chains, this was so ridiculous. If you offer a package to include breakfast, have it in your confirmation email, no where did it state not included for minors, you should follow through! Very disappointed and very misleading!

Room was clean, staff very helpful and knowledgeable

Really friendly staff!

Beautiful room and was super clean

Lovely stay. Great location, nice modern rooms and nice staff

Wonderful hotel, service and location.

I had a problem with my travel plans and had to book 2 rooms last minute. The staff were so kind and welcoming. Hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms were very nice. The location is perfect and shopping is just a block away. It was my daughter’s birthday and they gave her a little cake and beautiful card. She was so touched by the thoughtfulness. Staying here is one of the best memories of our 3 wk trip.

We enjoyed the physical facilities and would congratulate you on the willingness and pleasantness of the staff. However I think the language was a big problem (english) and would encourage the administration to provide English speaking lessons to achieve.excellence. It is in a good location near department stores and restaurants and therefore should succeed.

This hotel checked all the boxes any traveler could hope for. I’ll absolutely stay here again.
