Overall the room was great and pretty spacious. We had a pretty decent size room but could have been bigger for two people. The hotel itself was clean, staff friendly and very close to the train station and bus stops. The only thing that we didn’t find helpful was the laundry room. We had some clothes to wash and dry but the dryers were too small so they did not dry well at all. We were forced to use a coin laundry service outside the hotel.

Great location!

Everything was perfect and as expected! Please keep in mind that the rooms are small, but that is expected in the city. Breakfast buffet was amazing, and conveniently located near 7/11, and the Tambaguchi Station. They have a public onsen, but I didn’t get the chance to use it since I have tattoos (I want to respect and be courteous of policies). We had booked other Ryokan and Hotel accommodations to visit other areas, so S-Peria was our main hotel to hold the majority of our belongings, and to also go back to after visiting other areas outside of Kyoto. Thank you to all the staff at S-Peria Hotel Kyoto.

Great hotel! Room was very clean, staff was amazing and very helpful.

Everything was great.

They refused to book a restaurant for us, claiming they had problems in the past with other guests. It is unacceptable to treat foreigners with this form of blanket exclusion. Other than that, the hotel was good: good food, nice bath, comfortable room.

Beds were so comfortable. People so friendly. Steps away from the train station ( 2 stops to Kyoto) so super convenient Hot baths were a welcome addition to long days exploring

Hotel was good, limited dining options, breakfast was ok, not many options for westerners. Good public transport. Staff were efficient but could be friendlier

While departing after checking out I asked a favor for a bottle of water but was rejected by a staff(her). So cheaper? All other staff were nice and good.

Comfortable beds, a really nice bathroom and shower! Easy to take transit from here, close to trains and buses! Lots of stores and places to eat nearby. Staff were super welcoming.
