Older hotel, but in good location. You get free bus tickets during your stay which is a great freebie.
AC was only marginally useful, but then it was 90F outside.

This hotel is well-located for exploring Salzburg by foot and is ca. 15 minutes from the main train station on foot as well. We found the room to be comfortable and a good temperature, however the shower-head was loose. Breakfast is pricey at over €20 per head, however there is a BILLA shop next door for those who are on a budget. A fridge in the room would have been nice, but that is fairly minor. By far the worst part of the hotel is the check in/out desk staff, who are impolite and very slow- it definitely seems like they do not want to be there and they do not care about their guests.

I loved my stay here!!the hotel room was nice, beautifully designed and feels like guests are treated like royalties , and very cozy rooms! The hotel is 15 minute walk to the old town and 15 min walk to the major train station. which was great because it allowed me to have some physical activity.the surrounding area is quiet which i loved the most. The staff were amazing ,from Veronika at the front desk,kitchen staff and to the cleaners on 6th floor; they’re kind ,respectful, and holiday inn must be lucky to have all of them!! Loved this hotel!!

The staff was amazing. Lobby restaurant very nice and offered a nice breakfast. The rooms look very dated and run down. Although very clean, especially the bathroom. Balcony was disappointing as it is shared with other renters who can smoke. Heat and air conditioning did not work well and had to sleep with window open all night. Hotel was very quiet on the side away from street. Location was a 15 minute walk to Mirabell Palace and gardens which was nice.
