It is a good location, a tuk tuk offers easy and quick access to Pettah market (fascinating and bustling), Colombo Fort Station (the main train station) and the beach area with modern hotels (although somewhat lacking in Sri Lankan atmosphere).
The room was spacious, air conditioned and clean, with en suite rooms supplying shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser.
The meals (both dinner and breakfast) were yummy. They also cater for veggie and vegan.
The staff here are extremely friendly, helpful and kind.
It is a good place to stay.

The roof terrace beautiful ambient with nice Japanese meals. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Handy positions and quiet location.

Older building restored, so understand that. Excellent dining options (non guests came here to eat). Small Roof top pool. Adjacent roof top bar. Zen garden. Room(s) had a long balcony on the bedroom side, and a huge balcony porch on the other. WiFi isnt great (slow) but other than that if you had a stove a person could live here. Its a 1 bedroom apartment basically. Area is upper class it seems, several consulates and ambassadors on this street
