The hotel is right across the Green Lake. Traffic in Kunming was the worst I have ever seen in China, especially around the city center so be mindful how much time you need to go around places. Breakfast buffet was ok for the hotels in Kunming. When I arrived, the hotel told me the room type I booked ran out, so you better call them beforehand to make sure the room type you booked is available.

The Grand Park Kunming was an excellent choice for our visit. Everything was perfect. We arrived late at night after a long train ride and were greeted with a snack-bag, a bowl of fruit and flowers. The staff helped us with everything, from taxis, to umbrellas. The neighborhood was safe for strolling at night and we loved walking in nearby Green Lake Park. The fitness center is very well outfitted and it worth the visit just for the views of Kunming. Finally, the breakfast was incredible. The buffet and specially prepared dishes were amazing. I could not believe the variety of choices. I highly recommend

We love the location of the Hotel. It’s in a central but not too noisy area. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. There are many healthy and local options for the buffet style breakfast. Will recommend for anyone who is looking for a safe, clean and convenient hotel while visiting Kunming.

For what I paid for, it’s a great deal. It’s simple but comfortable enough. The famous lake is in front of the hotel, and it’s not in the center with the lots of night markets, so you can enjoy quiet time.
