Aware it's a historic and iconic hotel, it is too dated. It is like traveling back in time. Rugs and furniture need to be refreshed. Location is unbeatable when in town for business, and staff was superb. Restaurant was great too.

It’s very clean, regal, and fits the DC “vibe” in a unique way. I love that it’s a Marriott without feeling like one (in a good way.) They don’t offer room service which is kind of inconvenient, but they do have a to-go option when their restaurant is open. Check-in staff were personable and very accommodating. Extremely close to a metro entrance which makes a huge difference!

We booked through expedia but got a $900 charge on my card because they processed my check-in wrong. As of today I am still waiting for a refund. The first room we were in we needed to be switched because the AC unit was out. We asked to switch rooms at about 1am. Our cards kept deactivating when we would try and get into the room. This happened a few times.
Id be willing to change the review after I get my money reimbursed. Other than that its a beautiful hotel easily accessible and in a good location.
