Lots of activities for all ages throughout the day

We came as a couple for a four-day wedding anniversary stay. The location was excellent. Compared to every other property surrounding it, this is the best: understated yet luxurious, quiet yet family-friendly, and meticulously maintained. We had a lovely room for two with a jacuzzi on the balcony that made for some nice memories. The grounds are lovely, both family-friendly and couple-friendly, as there are quiet spaces set aside for adults only as well as spaces for families with kids. The food was amazing; we gorged ourselves a bit. The staff was wonderful. Here we send a special shout-out to Vural bey for making our anniversary celebration one to remember through his generosity. Also, Tugba hanim was very kind and helpful to us in the first day. I'd love to list everyone in the wait staff by name, but the space is not nearly enough. The other guests are wonderful, too. Barut Hemera is very highly recommended, if you plan to stay in Side. Don’t even consider any of the other options.

Amazing food, beautiful property

Excellent property, lovely food, had very nice lounge areas we could relax in. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the main buffet, Hasan in the main buffet area was outstanding and welcomed us like family. The spa was also lovely and well designed. We loved the patisserie which served great coffee and desserts. Drinks wise, non-alcoholic mocktail options were very limited but we were able to have plenty of hot drinks and soft drinks. Food items sometimes had alcohol in it which is unsuitable for children and those who do not have alcohol. Otherwise, a very relaxing stay. Thank you to the Barut Hemera team.

Service here is superb - a lot of very well trained staff to serve your every need. Amazing to be able to use the à la carte restaurants as an alternative to buffet at both lunch and dinner. Kids accommodated for very well. Big range of cocktails and premium drinks. App for ordering drinks to your lounger / table without having to move! Sheer indulgence. Much better presented, tended and maintained than any of the other beachfront hotels in this area.

So much could be said about Barut Hemera. From the moment you arrive you are treated like you are visiting family. The staff are some of the warmest friendly people we have met during our travels. Attention to detail is in the DNA at Barut Hemera. For such a big facility it is difficult to find fault with anything. Spotless rooms amazing cleaning and grounds staff. The service staff are just as diligent and courteous always one step ahead of your requests. The food Wow, how can you complain when the choices and flavours are endless. This place is a must visit.

For a resort of its size, it’s remarkable how flawless everything feels. The rooms are spotless, and the housekeeping and grounds teams do an exceptional job maintaining the property to the highest standard. The service staff are equally impressive — attentive, courteous, and always one step ahead, anticipating your needs before you even ask. And the food… simply outstanding. With endless choices and incredible flavours at every turn, there’s nothing left to wish for. Barut Hemera is more than a resort — it’s an experience. A true must-visit
