We really liked the location, very close to Michigan Avenue and Rush Street. It was easy to walk to good restaurants and shops. I thought our room was nicely decorated, but the lobby was uninspiring. It has a larger than normal fitness center. We had a water leak in our room, and I didn't think the management handled it very well. They did not communicate with us about the status of fixing the problem and didn't seem too sympathetic. All in all the hotel was practical and fine, but everything was a little less than we expected for a luxury Chicago hotel.
