最高 Excellent hotel. Our traditional room had a large window with amazing views of the sea and sunrise. The icing on the cake is the spectacular 9th floor roof bath

最高 Very nice traditional Japanese hotel within 5 minutes walking distance from the Tourist Information Center if you took the public bus. I stayed in a Japanese style room with ocean view and slept on futon laid on tatami. Dinner and breakfast were included in the room rate, and the food was pretty good (kind of in fine-dining style). They have shuttle bus service from and to Fukuyama Station so be sure to take advantage of it. The welcome drink that they serve when you check in was nice.

The hotel was truly remarkable! While some areas, especially the bathroom, could use some renovation, it was exceptionally clean, and the view was simply breathtaking. The dinner was an absolute delight! Although I am not usually a fan of rice, it was so soft and fluffy that I could not resist having another bowl.
The amenities, such as the sauna and public onsen, were fantastic. If you ever find yourself in the charming town of Tomonoura or even Fukuyama, I would highly recommend staying here.
Lastly, the staff and service were truly exceptional.
