The manager was lovely and very friendly. There’s another receptionist who wasn’t as welcoming. We all have bad days so hopefully it’ll be great for you

very limited options in McBride. Hotel is old, not particularly well maintained, but serviceable. The food options there are probably the worst imaginable

I understand this is an old hotel)) We liked that the bed linen was very clean and fresh, the rest... it was just an overnight stay, and everything was fine😉

Super run down but we were tired and just wanted clean bed. The headboards should be fixed to the wall- they rattled when you moved. WiFi was terrible in room 201 - compounded by data from Roger’s non existent. Front desk agent got the job done but was lacking any hospitality or personality.

The staff was very good, but they seemed quite short staffed - lots of running. There seemed to be a lot of things that needed repair or touch-ups. There seemed to be confusion about which rooms had been cleaned. Having said that, our room was clean (the desk clerk checked) and everything seemed to work: fridge, HVAC, coffee maker, TV were all good - the bathroom fan worked, but was quite noisy. I appreciated that the bathroom sink was separated from the bathtub and toilet. No shampoo or conditioner in the room - I'm not sure if that's standard for Sandmans. The beds were very comfortable and there were screens on the windows, so you could have fresh air. There is lots of parking, and it's a safe place. Be sure to check out the town - it's a nice place!
