Staff were friendly and very helpful. They even allowed for an early check-in when the room was fully prepared! That being said, compared to my last stay, the shortcomings were more obvious. The safe box in the room was not functioning and the air-conditioning was not as cold as it should be(my friend's room was ice cold to the point of condensation on the windows). And again, the breakfast spread could do with more variety. Overall, the hotel was a nice retreat from city life and I do like the old school vibes of the place, but the rooms could use a refresh and the breakfast spread could do with a size increase.

The room wasn’t very clean. It’s an old property. There wasn’t even towels. We had to call and request for it. Breakfast is so limited with options. The assistance from reception is poor.

Staff very courteous and accommodating. The place is very clean. Outstanding breakfast!

The place has great potential. However: a. there are no deck chairs at the beautiful swimming pools! b. Paid for the upgraded room but it still feels jaded. The beds are so light that they can move easily. c. doesn't feel like a resort!

This property has so much potential with 3 golf courses and proximity to the local airport and Singapore. It was cheap, golf was good. We would go if it was double or even triple the price but someone needs to make in investment in this property.

The place badly needs a make over. Air-con wasnt cold. Fridge was super moudly on the inside.

Perfect getaway from the city and work. Personally, I don't mind the older decor and layout of the hotel; there is a certain charm to it all, like you're visiting a familiar place from childhood. Breakfast is good, though the spread can be somewhat limited.
