There’s no AC in this property. For an extra 20 francs you could be upgraded to a room with an AC unit. However you can’t adjust the climate (beacause of city law) therefore you’re in the same hot room as before.
I left the property 2 hours after I went into my room and moved to another hotel with AC and no restrictions.

The hotel is rated as a three star. The facility felt much more like an above average 2 star. The room had no air conditioning. This made the stay quite uncomfortable. The room electric was controlled as in much of Europe using a room card. We left the room powered when we exited with the lights and tv off to keep the room min fridge cold, to keep our water cool and Swiss chocolate from melting. This was a total failure. The staff entered the room while we were gone and removed the card. Melted Swiss chocolate and melted dreams.

Hotel location was excellent. Room was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Our room had air conditioning but I think some rooms do not so make sure you check on that especially during the warmer months. Front desk was very nice to us when we checked in. Great experience.

Hotel was located in the old town. It was very close to the train station, which was very convenient.
There were many restaurants close by.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was small but for a two night stay was perfect. Room was very clean. Shower was very nice.
The buffet breakfast was delicious. Lots of selection.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again.

Staff was friendly. Room was modern and very quiet. Since it was centrally located in the old town, there would be noise but nothing at all.

少しがっかり Clean modern rooms and nice bathroom. Absolutely terrible wifi that couldn’t hold connection. Took minutes for anything to download and unable to hold a video chat for a work call
Also wood floors and the idiot in the room above me walking heavy footed around the room from 12:30am until 1:30 am. Just didn’t stop and thus unable to sleep. Then again at 3am
