Fantastic old building with really big rooms.

Really good breakfast Nice staff and clean rooms Needs updating

Unique decor and quite an experience. The shower and soaking tub combo without a shower curtain was interesting; the showerhead was not actually secured to the ceiling, and the water never did get warmer than lukewarm. The carpets could sure use a good cleaning; felt like it was best to just keep socks on to walk around. The air conditioning was nice. They also secured our luggage since we arrived too early for check in. It was fine for a single night, but not sure that I’d stay there again.

We loved this hotel, would definitely stay again. Perfect for a night out and shopping. Breakfast was good! I feel it is need of some tlc as rooms were a little tired and bathroom was smelling, it wasn’t a 5 star standard!

Very quirky hotel in a great location to explore Liverpool

Very happy with our stay at the Dixie dean , unfortunately the jetted tub in the bathroom did not work.

Lady at reception was amazing,very pleasant & helpful , couldn't do enough for us..... lovely comfortable room & clean, comfortable temperature, amazing breakfast,my party of 6 really enjoyed our stay,& would definitely return

Rooms very clean and roomy, breakfast lovely and staff friendly

This is a quirky little hotel with a mix of exposed brickwork and plush velvety wall coverings combined. The staff were very helpful and pointed out good places to visit in the area. The bar is very reasonably priced also. Breakfast was a nice buffet with a mix or cooked, cereal, toast and some pastries. I had booked a double room but was upgraded to a room with six beds in it! Lots of space but didn’t really see a need to be upgraded to so many beds. Room was nicely decorated and the spa bath was nice to soak in, plenty of space in it as well. Although the hotel, including rooms, is clean, it is not perfectly clean as in there is a bit of dust here and there. If you are after spotless then maybe not the place for you. But for a fairly budget hotel, with clean enough rooms, clean bedding and towels, I would definitely come again. Ours was the red room on floor one son with six beds, great for a family to be all in one room together

Rundown and dirty room. Also, you have to pay an extra tax to stay in this hotel, so yeah, you have to pay extra for a rundown dirty room, no thanks.
