The hotel was in a great location close to the harbour which made easily accessible to our 10 hour komodo tour. Hotel staff was very friendly which made our stay even better.

I was looking for something inexpensive and convenient, because I was spending limited time in my room- this checked both boxes.
Why 4 instead of 5 stars?
1. I had hoped to get some work done but the wifi was having issues. They actually switched things while I was there and everything worked perfectly after that but it was disappointing for what I needed. Also breakfast was included but I knew that when I booked.
Review:
This was a great location for the price - $53 Canadian for a sea view room aka 3rd floor. Harbour view (I believe 2nd floor) would have been $47 and main floor was much less.
The best views are at the rooftop where the restaurant and pool are located.
• Two bottles of water in room on arrival
• Helpful welcoming staff
• Lent me an adapter for my phone
• Great views and location - money changer across the street, scuba centers everywhere, incredible massage next door - recommend (hotel guests get a 10% discount)
• Pool was a wading pool - knee deep but nice to refresh and enjoy the sunset of harbour views.
• Restaurant had great food and lovely service.

The staff were very welcoming and kind. The hotel is very central so there were lots of food options within walking distance as well as tour places and the harbour. The room was clean with a very nice bathroom and good air con. We didn’t have any issues with noise. The swimming pool picture is slightly misleading as it is very small and is now part of the Japanese restaurant on the top floor so if you wanted to use it it is within the restaurant seating area.
