We had a great stay!

We recently stayed at Residenza II Campanile in Salerno and overall had a very positive experience. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the historic center and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, the waterfront, and many of the city’s attractions. It was hard to imagine a more convenient place to stay. The room was also larger than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise. When we arrived, however, there was a noticeable sewer gas odor coming from the bathroom drains. We reported it to the owner right away and even discussed the possibility of changing rooms. The owner responded promptly and treated the drains with a product that actually eliminated the odor rather than simply masking it. The issue was resolved and did not affect the remainder of our stay. One thing to keep in mind is that the property is located next to a church. Around 8:00 AM each morning, the church bells ring loudly. For us, it became an automatic alarm clock. Some guests may enjoy the authentic local atmosphere, while lighter sleepers may find it a bit early. Overall, the combination of an outstanding location, spacious accommodations, and attentive management made this a very enjoyable stay. We would gladly stay here again when visiting Salerno.

Good location lovely helpful staff and facilities

We had the most AMAZING stay. Antoniona was fantastic at breakfast every morning. The location is right in the heart of Sorrento. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and everything we needed. We were sad to check out this morning. This is a MUST stay location for anyone staying in Sorrento. I promise, it will exceed expectations!!!!

Room was very clean. Staff was very helpful considering that they were mostly offsite. Breakfast was very good and was staffed. Very attentive. Communication by text or phone. Shops plentiful and nearby. Would highly recommend. Oh, sorry-no elevator.

This is a great property in the middle of everything. The staff are awesome. Rooms clean and comfortable but only have stairs. Breakfast is awesome on the rooftop .

Fantastic location at the center of everything. Easy access from the train station and to the ferries. Room was spacious and daily housekeeping was so nice to have. Delicious breakfast with a variety of cakes, breads, meat and cheese. Comfy bed and pillows. We had a very enjoyable stay and would stay there again. A couple items to note: The building is historic and there is no elevator. Also with the location close to restaurants and bars, it can be noisy at night. This wasn’t a problem for us as we put on our white noise machine. We slept very soundly.

All the pros and cons of a central location. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Sound reverberates throughout the building which can lead to disturbances. A/C was not functioning.

Be prepared to lug luggage up stairs. Internet didn't work on 2nd floor. Breakfast was passable, nothing freshly prepared, cold cuts, pies with a jellied filling, not fresh. Room was spartan with furnishings. Lady at reception was outstanding.

Everything about the stay was perfect… The lady of the front desk was extremely helpful… The apartment was very clean and the location could not have been better
