SPA可以幫我放鬆

Superb set meal each evening and the service from mainly Nepalese girls is so warm and friendly. The quality and variety of the dishes is very high. The onsen baths are large and the facilities are excellent. Very good value.

Staff were very friendly and courteous. Kaiseki dinner and buffet breakfast were out of the world! Onsen, water temperature was perfect, and Jungle Onsen was interesting. Our room was tatami room with 2 beds which was large enough and comfortable. Even though the unit was rustic, it was very clean. They had no problem picking us up from the JR station even though I called the hotel in the morning of the arrival day. (Get off at JR Chikugo-Yoshiimachi station.) When we arrived at the station, the driver was already waiting for us with the sign. Let the front desk know if you need another ride returning to the station when you check in. Over all, we had a great stay at Taisenkaku Hotel.

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to travel to this special ryokan. Because it is costly, we wanted to get there as close to check in as possible and enjoy all the amenities. The hot springs were absolutely beautiful and lush. The half board experience is not one to miss, and we loved our detached traditional Japanese room. Unfortunately communication for the shuttle pick up from the station fell off as we got closer to arrival and we were picked up late. We also were disappointed that they only offered one shuttle time to get us to the station which was at 920am.. although check out isn’t until 10am, and the first train back to Fukuoka is not until 10:25am. We would have appreciated more time enjoying our peaceful room if given an alternative time.

Excellent and grand onsen resort with incredible baths, beautiful rooms, and very friendly and accommodating staff. Quiet area with easy access to local restaurants and shops. Shuttle service provide to and from the train station.

Nice hot spring. Very cozy Japanese bedroom and good housekeeping.

A very good breakfast and dinner

Pros: Good email communication Free shuttle service from train station Food and onsen very nice Japanese style room very beautiful and comfortable Two staff - the lady who escorted me to my room and the gentleman who greeted at meal times - absolutely lovely Cons: No one on the staff speak English. Very confusing for a first time visitor as to etiquette, using the onsen, and the food. Nothing to see or do in the town unless you have a car to go further afield. Emailed in advance about a shellfish allergy but was still served it. Managed to spot it and used google translate to explain to the waitress, and the explained to receptionist as well. Very stressful! Very intimidating environment for a solo female traveller, especially with limited Japanese! Hotel information booklet only has partial English explanations. What was meant to be a relaxing end to my visit to Japan became a very stressful couple of days instead. I visited Karatsu for my last night after this - I'd recommend going there instead!

The breakfast and swimming pool was good. The hot springs facility was good and the atmosphere is relaxing. You must have a car to get around the area, as there are not much to do around the hotel within walking distance.
