We had a lovely stay and the staff were all very friendly and very helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious. A lovely spacious room, although could do with a little redecoration.

The hotel was closed due to flooding. We weren't notified and then had to book another hotel. We have tried to get a refund but have been told it won't be possible, even when we didn't stay as it was closed!

Air conditioner adjuster not working well There was no free shuttle service from hotel to airport and was charging too much for hotel vehicle service. We did not use free shuttle service from airport to hotel.

We booked 3 rooms with 3 occupants each. However when checked in at 0100 after a long flight it was disappointing to find only one double bed in room. They obliged our request to set up a another bed each but it was very inconvenient to wait for this to happen at this very late time. Also we paid for a poor breakfast. Poorly run hotel.

Filthy, we had to move our people from this hotel after only 5 minutes in the room (after they had moved rooms already). Full refund requested. Mold on the bed sheets, in the room, bed bugs etc.

Terrible Stay. We got there very late (11:30PM) and only had a few hours to sleep before we needed to go to the airport. Check-in took forever, and when I finally got to my room and plugged in my cell phone to charge, it shorted the power in the entire room. All power went out. When I went back and told the front desk, they said they sould send someone up to check it out (was 12:30am by this time). After a lot of back & forth w/ the Desk Agent, he finally gave me a new room as requested. When I finally got to the new room at 1am, it was really hot, over 80 degrees farenheight, and the thermostat was broken. I just took a cold shower and went to bed because I was so exhausted, needed to be up again soon, and didn't feel like dealing with it any longer. Would not recommend staying here!!

**Ramada Inn Colombo International Airport – Review** I recently stayed at the Ramada Inn near Colombo International Airport and had a generally pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the airport, though the surrounding area is quiet and lacks much to do, making it ideal for those looking for a peaceful stopover. The hotel staff were truly exceptional. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed, always with a warm and friendly attitude. Despite the hotel being on a budget, the staff’s dedication to providing excellent service really stood out, and I was very appreciative of their efforts. The hotel itself is a bit dated, and the buildings show signs of age. Some areas could use renovation to bring them up to modern standards, but it didn’t detract too much from my stay. The rooms were still comfortable and well-maintained, and the cleanliness was impressive. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The restaurant offered a wonderful selection, and I was especially pleased with the French entrees, which were a pleasant surprise. I didn’t try the buffet, but the à la carte menu was delicious, reasonably priced, and well-prepared. Overall, while the Ramada Inn Colombo could benefit from some updates, the exceptional service from the hotel staff and the great food made my stay enjoyable and comfortable.

The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The chef is extraordinary, producing beautiful food. The dining options are very reasonably priced and very tasty. A great place to prepare for a flight home.
