We were able to get a last minute reservation after the previous hotel we stayed in had lost power and advised it may not be fixed until the next day. We were able to check in within an hour of making the reservation. The accommodations were comfortable and beautifully vintage. The staff was extremely kind, friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!!

Great location!

This was definitely overpriced for the stay.

The photographs for this unit make the place look much more appealing than it is. This is a three star unit. The building and the unit are a bit run down, damp smelling and dark. However, that is to be picky because the area is safe, the room was clean, and the view from the room is interesting. The location is decent, a ten or fifteen-minute walk from the main train station, from the opera, major museums, and Santa Maria Maggiore. There are several decent places to eat, one downstairs in the same building.

Our stay at La Residenza was a fantastic introduction to Italy. Staying here for four nights, we truly experienced the charm and character of Rome. Anka, who looks after the property, was incredibly warm and helpful. Despite limited English, her hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond made communication easy and meaningful. The location is excellent—very central, close to major attractions, hop-on-hop-off bus stops, and not far from Roma Termini. The area felt very safe, with a constant police presence nearby. The room had great character and practical amenities like a fridge. Bathrooms and showers are on the smaller side, but manageable for a family. If you’re looking for modern hotel luxuries, this may not be the place—but if you want an authentic Roman experience, it’s perfect. Great value for money and highly recommended for those wanting to truly feel the spirit of Rome

Extremely friendly. Great area. Close to everything like shops, restaurants and bus stops. Walking distance to many hot spots.

Nice quaint hotel that offers an amazing view and has great customer service and plenty of standard amenities like a shower/restroom, fridge, tv, and internet. It’s also close to the bus station and train station. Staff was very helpful.

The room was very clean, with a good location that was central to everything (very easy walk from Termini; good food downstairs and across the street). The owner provided clear instructions to access the building and check in, the elevator was a bonus. The only con was that the shower had very poor water pressure and almost no hot water. If you have long or thick hair to wash it can be a challenge. As an FYI, the double bed is a Murphy bed, comfortable, but if you’re with someone who is heavier than you, you’ll roll into them during the night.
