Excellent place to stay at Banff.

Excellent location with superb free bus pass to downtown

Great stay! The facility offered free 3 day bus pass, and local coffee and tea!

Très belle hôtel et exellent service du personnel. Près des commerces et parfait pour un voyage en famille.

Beautiful property and hot pools were 10/10. Check in was easy and the in room coffee and tea options were lovely. Our only complaint was the house keeping threw all our sheets on the ground when remaking the bed without vacuuming and it was covered in hair (most not ours), bits of the outdoors from our shoes and dust/dirt. We were itching all night even though we tried to fling most of it off. Other than that, our two nights were lovely ! Would Stay again

Stayed at a lot of different hotels in Banff over the years but the Dorothy is terrific. The rooms are spacious and clean, free parking on site, right off of Banff Ave so within walking distance of anything you need/want plus you have access to all the amenities at the hotel across the street. Loved it!

Outside was somewhat dirty and loose bricks on walkway, outside heater-a/c unit cover was lifted up outside. No clear parking signs until you drive around building. No elevator but only 2 floors, for us older folks with heavy luggage just made a little more difficult. With all that said it is a national park. The room was big a n d nice n clean. Bed and pillows comfortable, shower decent. When we 1st pulled up we immediately thought about upgrading to the Canoe Suites where we checked in. We went in to check out room and decided to just give it a try. We had 4 nights booked, later found that an upgrade would cost additional $700. With the restaurant across street made it nice for breakfast and to go item's. Overall as we were away from room so much it worked out just fine.

Access to pool at the Canoe Hotel was a great news

Everything from room to staff to facilities was top notch! We really loved it there! Highly recommend!

A hidden gem. Was apparently an old motel and outside looks that way. But inside was completely remodeled and very comfortable. Had access to the amenities at 2 sister properties across the street - gym, sauna, hot pools, fire pits. Highly recommend
