It was a very nice stay

Staying in The Castle was a highlight of our NZ adventure. We had incredible views of stars and sunrises/sunsets and the comfort was incredible!

Cabin was a bit dated but comfortable and the new bathroom/shower block was quite nice.

Beautiful location and great facilities. Easy access to local walks

Clean cabin with nice ocean view. Great huge kitchen that guests can share which had plenty of refrigeration, stoves, sinks, counters and pots and pans for you to use to cook your meal. Fresh eggs available from their chickens. Next to Abel Tasman trail entrance and vast beach.

We loved staying here. Great location, a little funky but had everything we needed, nice vibe.

AMAZING! The Castle was set up beautifully for our family and made us feel very welcome. Unexpected “above and beyond service” with treats, as well as hot water bottles and electric blankets to keep warm at night. Bathrooms, kitchen, and property were clean. There was a storm with pouring rain all night and the canvas tent felt safe, while also keeping everything dry. Would highly recommend staying in their canvas tent overlooking the ocean. It was stunning at sunrise.

Family Room we stayed at was clean, beds comfortable, shared facilities were good and the entire atmosphere was lovely. Great base camp for all things Abel Tasman

This was genuinely the best campsite I’ve ever visited. The cabins were really nice, and the site had a movie room, boardgames, a food truck, sun loungers, and outdoor games for guests. It had everything needed for a few days stay and was right on the Abel Tasman coastal track. Only downside was that they only offer 250mb of wifi for free, and the kitchen can quickly become overcrowded as it seems usual for big tour groups to pass through the site. Really enjoyed the stay though!

Large cabin, excellent kitchen, seating areas, bath. Outstanding views and quit. Separate from all the RV campers. One of the best in our three week New Zealand trip.
