You can't do much on the hotel premises; it feels restraining, but the aesthetic and beachfront are amazing. Honestly speaking, the food is less appetizing (ordinary) and expensive, with not many choices on the menu. Flies are all over the dining area. Kudos to the staff for doing their best to solve the problem. I think it will be a great place if given attention to guest intertqinment and more wiggle room with choices.

The bathroom needs update, shower have very low pressure. The bed sheets were dusty and had scent of the previous people/person that stayed in our room. Our family end up getting sick with cough, feber and runny nose dur to too much dust. The staff were great and friendly. The food was nice, many options and taste great. It’s amazing how you have access to the pool and swimming pool. Also have overpriced tourist guide…

Staff are excellent.

the Staff are amazing very polite and courteous, very helpful. The food, amenities and landscape are wonderful. We stayed on one of their Villa mansion and the aircondition was noisy and they transfered us to another villa right away, the faucetes in the washrooms need to be replaced. I need to remind the front desk for our bottled water supply everyday because water in the rooms are not potable. Other than that I love the resort. We'll go back there again if given a chance.

This was such a great choice for a solo splurge. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and amenities, steps from the beach, delicious breakfast and really helpful and friendly staff. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Spacious room, kind staff

This was my 7th stay at Puerto del Sol. My wife and I bring her Filipino family of 12 for 2 days and my wife and I stay an extra day after. I also brought my cousin from the USA. The rooms were never serviced. No toilet paper, roof was missing from wind. No drying rack for bathing suits. Only breakfast buffet included instead of both breakfast and dinner as it used to be. Prices were higher with little to no service. Bartender added drinks to out bill that none of us drink. The outside was never cleaned while we were there. Cigarette butts all over. Outside table was never cleaned for us. It was just an absolute disappointment. On a positive note that justifies a 2 star rating, the employees were alway kind especially the restaurant staff. I will never take my family there again. It was very disappointing

Recommended. Lovely 2 days, good size room next to pool and immediate access to beach. Excellent service. Clean. Good food. Very keen to ensure you are well looked after..!
