Stayed for business trip but would recommend for leisure as well. Really nice boutique hotel in a great location.

First class breakfast. Great location

I had a lovely stay in Stern am Rathaus. Highlights were an excellent breakfast and extra details made by the cleaning staff (such as hanging up my coat and hat for me). One point to note is that the cathedral bells are quite loud, though it wasn't a disturbance.

The hotel is right in the centre of Cologne, so the main sights are walkable. The hotel staff are excellent and were happy to recommend places to visit during the stay

Location is unbeatable. The staff are very nice. Breakfast is such a highlight.

You MUST stay here if you're visiting Cologne! 😊 This hotel is perfectly located—just steps away from all the major sights and attractions. It backs onto a charming square filled with shops, restaurants, and cafes, and it's right next to the historic City Hall, giving you that authentic Cologne atmosphere right outside your door. Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable—exactly what you want after a long day of sightseeing. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible staff. We had the pleasure of interacting with Francisco and Kai, both of whom went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their customer service was outstanding—no request was too much, and they always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was another highlight! A great spread overall, but the made-to-order omelettes were especially delicious and worth waking up for. All in all, this hotel was a perfect home base for our time in Cologne. Highly recommend, and we would absolutely stay here again!
