Unique location near a river and loch. Stunning property, ok breakfast and food. Staff were great . Room nicely decorated, and bed comfy.
We felt it was quite expensive overall.

Beautiful stay at this 150 year old property.
Intimately sized which is nice.
Nicely updated with new furniture & plumbing. Scrumptious bed. Enjoyed the restaurant for 2 dinners & had lovely meals.
My only surprises were that I had to stand on a chair to use the hairdryer near a mirror.
And when I asked if they could call a taxi I was told “no.” And they could not provide any taxi numbers to call either. For a hotel of this caliber that was unexpected.
All in all - it’s a very special memory having stayed there

We really enjoyed our stay at the Skeabost!
The bartender, check in staff and wait staff were all very friendly! The view is magnificent and we walked all around the property after breakfast. Babbling brook, abandoned medieval ruins and a 9 hole golf course that is no longer in use. We loved our stay!

The room was quite dusty and the shelf behind the curtain was dirty and had cobwebs on it. Bathroom was clean but tub drained slowly. Staff at breakfast were lovely and accommodating and selection was great. Bar was adequate but not regularly staffed

This was like stepping back in time! The property was straight out of a movie! The bar was the best and Bella and Bob took great care of us!
The rooms were very comfortable.
