I wish i could have given more stars for the staff, they were so great. Very kind and helpful. Loved the place, very close to Paddington station therefore close to attractions. I would definitely visit again x

The reception is not staffed 24 hours as stated. As stated for two nights and only saw staff when we checked in. On Saturday morning we woke up sweltering. The radiator was on during a heatwave and could not be turned off. We managed to find a cleaner and she simply said that she knew it was on. There was no way to turn it off. It appeared it was a storage heater so it remained on until late Saturday afternoon. We felt so hot given the crazy heat outside. A few other less severe issues; No hand towels No bath mat No light fitting cover in bathroom No milk I would say that the sheets appeared clean as did the room in general. I complained to Hotels.com and even they were unable to make contact with the hotel!

I've stayed at many of the little hotels along this row in Paddington. Most of them are pleasant. This one, ah, where do I start. If you want a hot shower, roll the dice. I had one during my five days there. Otherwise, it doesn't matter what time of the day or night you want to shower, it seems like they're saving money by not heating the water. Another problem. On the first night I was there, I spilled some ketchup on my sheets. Even though I was there for another four nights, the sheets were never changed. They were simply smoothed out. And if you want to ask anyone at the reception desk for anything, roll the dice again. Except for my check-in, reception room desk was never unlocked, and I never saw another person there again. I'll stop there.

The location is great. The facilities were horrible. The mattress felt like the springs were penetrating your body, no refrigerator, no Air Condition. We literally slept with the windows wide open every night and lastly, we had to take cold showers. I will never stay there again.

Nothing to complain about. It did the job. The stairs were annoying, but they're just stairs.

Very close to Hyde Park and other retail stores.

After reading other reviews we were slightly worried about staying here …. HOWEVER you get what you pay for, a budget hotel, clean, daily housekeeping, beds ok we slept well, only complaint would be the shower, it was either hot or cold couldn’t change the temperature. Location is great, if you want the ritz don’t stay here but for somewhere to crash and a good location we would happily stay again!

Located a short walk from London Paddington train station

Very helpful and forthcoming staff. The interior is a bit shabby but clean and exactly what you need just for a night. The best thing about it is the location, 4 mins walk to nearest metro station, shops, cafes and restaurants just round the corner, and just a skip from Hyde Park. Couldn't wish for a better place to start your exploration of the city. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Room was below ground. I've been in below ground rooms in other places but this one smelt dusty and musty. The bed was small for a single. The room was giving a soviet communist vibe. The important thing for me about any hotel i stay in and i stay in hotel in paddington every week, is the shower. The temperature control for the shower was no longer attached. You would need molecular grip. I have stayed in this hotel before but this room was not adequate.
