If you’re on a budget and you can be

Expedia told me that many people want to now how good the air conditioning is at Apple - it's excellent. Don't worry about that. In fact, it's a very nice place to stay in Chungking Mansions. I have tried to stay at other places in these 'mansions" on Nathan Road, and sometimes it's hard to even find check in staff - but NOT at Apple. The only thing that bothered me a little was the late check in time of 4pm. Other than that, I like the place a lot.

Very very very small room but ok if you travel light. Kind staff, good location.

Friendly and available staff. Facilities were cleaned very regularly and my room was very adequate.

One of the worst stays ever. The photos presented here are completely misleading as the place is now very rundown. Chunking Mansions, the buidling where the hostel is is a place to be missed at all costs. The shower head is directly above the toilet bowl. The air con directly abive the bed. Cockroaches, elevator system which's a joke, smelly, stinky, with people carrying large leaky bin bags on it... The reception team at the hostel are nice and do their best. But overall, the price x what you get/experience is a thing to be missed for sure. Be advised.

The Hostel was extremely nice, clean, and friendly. Apple Hostel is inside the famous Chungking Mansions, which is a crazy but interesting place. You have to take an elevator to get in and out of the hostel.
