Phenomenal stay in a beautiful setting. Amazing location close to everything Carmel has to offer.

Cute, cozy, Carmel-style boutique hotel! Friendly staff, great location in the heart of a super special unique town. About 10-15 min walk to the big beach. The hotel and the room had a retro cool throwback vibe to the 1950s/60s ... the style of phone, the moldings, the furniture. Very cool experience. Breakfast was very good and included. My only knock if I had to pick one is there isn't an elevator, and we had 3 huge bags to carry due to our 2 week trip. The bellman helped on the way up (for a nice tip of course) but I did it myself on the way down.

Basic amenities in room were non functional and staff was not helpful in correcting the problem or having someone come fix issue

Lovely location. There were no coffee pods in the room and no late check-out plan - I was offered 15 minutes.

Everything about this hotel and our stay was great! The room was adorable and clean, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was good and service throughout was unmatched.

The staff was incredibly good and attentive. The breakfast was delicious as well! The ground floor rooms hear A LOT of foot noise from the rooms above so travelers be aware of this. We will request a top floor next time. Also, the ‘resort fee’ of $40 per day was excessive (not sure what that was really for exactly) especially considering we had to find street parking, but I guess that’s the standard in the area? Overall great experience and we would stay again for sure.

Very charming but a bit dark and noisy especially if you are on the ground floor. The staff is great and the location is wonderful

The property was welcoming, and excellent spot to stay near stores and restaurants. Quiet and cozy.
