This hotel is spot on in terms of being clean, convenient, and wonderfully designed. The rooms are small, but the space is used wisely. These are not rooms in which one sprawls or spends a day, but every convenience you want as a traveler is there — comfortable bed, blackout blinds that lead to full darkness, excellent sound proofing, wonderful shower pressure, etc. An excellent location to visit the entire city or country, as sort walk to the train station as well. Highly recommend for travelers who want their needs met, versus those who want their wants met.

We were very angry to be bumped from the hotel to another over an hours walk away due to “overbooking”. Despite paying in advance, they informed us of this late at night as we were flying in from abroad. This ruined our plans for Copenhagen as my husband has a heart condition and needs a central hotel. The hotel they put us in was dirty and was of an inferior standard. They could not have cared leas about us and did not partially refund the fee we paid. Do not jeopardise your plans by booking this hotel.

Very good city centre location. Rooms are compact but very clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly.

About the hotel Pluses - clean, nice decor and central location. Very bad - where do I start 1. Everything is controlled by an iPad. To start TV and change channel you need the iPad which is fixed to the table. We lost TV connection 30min before FIFA finals and they had to reset the iPad 2 times. 2. The room temperature is also controlled by iPad. Very hot in the room at 21C and never cooled. The front desk said they saw the temp at 21C and it was lowering. 36 hours later it is still at 21C. They could not fix it and got a fan for the room. 3. The hand shower has a mind of its own. It is stuck at one position and all water gets to the bathroom floor. Terrible room design for amenities. Never again I will stay at CitizenM.

Amazing location!!! Walked to everything! Only thing was missing was a gym.

The hotel is in an amazing location and the staff are truly top notch! Loved every minute of our stay including the living room on the 7th floor with food and drink options served until late and a great breakfast. The rooms are quite small and one person has to climb over the other to get in the bed but otherwise we loved everything about this unique hotel.

The central location was very convenient and it’s surprisingly quiet here other than the church bells nearby. Even that wasn’t too bad. We were here during a heatwave and the aircon was struggling to maintain a cool temperature in the bedroom but it’s not usually so hot her so that might explain it. Definitely less luxury than I usually opt for but I was pleasantly surprised and have no regrets staying here. Staff are very friendly and helpful so no complaints at all. Rooms were clean and the blackout blinds were a nice touch. Would recommend for an affordable stay in a very good location!

Great location. But the hotel sign is so small that it is easy to miss it. Also need more instruction to find 7 floors to check in.
