Was very clean and well maintained. The shower was great. The only down side was the futons that 2 of our party slept on were quite thin (in the Japanese western room).

Very basic hotel room but cheap price and close to everything.

Great location, good value, staff helpful, however communication was lacking pre check in time with questions unanswered.

Really nice room, perfect for 1 person for 4 nights. Central enough, buses and subways close by. 24hr convenience store right across the road. Check in isn't until 4pm but they let you leave the luggage. All good, I'd recommend

It was so easy to check in and the room was nice and perfect for our 2 night stay

Super cool hotel

Easy close by Nishiki market

The staff were nice and fast with the check in and out(around 1-2 mins for each). They provide lots of towels and amenities by the door as well. Rooms were very clean and had everything that I needed! I would recommend if you come to Kyoto and don't want to stay in the busy Main Street. It's nice and quiet here with a mini stop 20 feet from the hotel. Also there is a really good restaurant called "Ginjo Ramen Kubota" that has amazing tsukemen. Overall great place! Loved walking down the streets from Main Street to this hotel.

Very good

Very inexpensive for a last minute booking, very clean room, easy check in, great location, nice staff. Everything you could ask for from a nice hotel.
