Everything about this place was great , highly recommend staying here to anyone !

First and foremost: don’t use Expedia to book this hotel! Expedia has no authority and control over hotel’s staff, Expedia descriptions are wrong ( if you back sea view you’ll most likely get pool or garden view), and Expedia agents are helpless if things went wrong. Hotel staff dod not care much about Expecia reservations because most guests book via chinese travel sites. Otherwise, itis a nice, aging hotel with clean rooms. Oh, their New Year party was awful, we had to go to nearby Sheraton for a good entertainment. Overall- not recommended. We saw sevetsl unhappy guests arguing with reception staff.. .

Our 5 night stay at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a beautiful, spacious, and spotless room, along with a thoughtful basket of fragrant, sweet tropical fruits. The passion fruit here is a revelation—so much more vibrant and fresh than what we find in the US. The service was impeccable, particularly from our butler, Lulu, who was incredibly courteous and attentive. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive variety, from traditional Chinese dishes to the best French pastries I’ve ever tasted. A true highlight was the outdoor live music bar by the private beach. The combination of the sunset, the ocean breeze, the aroma of the BBQ, and the nostalgic live music was absolutely intoxicating. Spending my mornings and evenings walking along the white sand beach was the perfect way to bookend my days. This was truly my best vacation week ever.

The service was excellent and the team were incredibly helpful and always followed up. Gardens and landscaping amazing and heated pool area a real bonus. Beach area needed to be cleaned as plastic bottles, garbage and construction waste dotted along the front of the hotel beach area.

Was OK. Service, at a 5-start level, was lacking. Only one staff - Cedric - went out of his way to be of service. Not sure I’d spend the money again.

The hotel was lovely. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and was in great shape. The pools were nice and surprisingly uncrowded for the size of the resort and the number of guests we saw. The family/shaded pool does need a little TLC (missing tiles, some overgrown areas), but it did not take away from an overall pleasing poolside experience. The staff were courteous and prompt to help, but not all spoke English. With phone translation and basic Chinese it all worked well. The spa was incredible and we went twice during our four night stay. The least impressive aspect of the stay was the food. Overall it was quite overpriced for the quality received. I know that hotels have high food prices and I expected it, but then I also expect commensurate quality. This did not really happen and we ordered takeout once we knew we could do that instead. The beachside buffet and the breakfast were the exception to this; both were lovely. Overall we had a great time and would stay again.
