Staff. Spa.

Clean, near palace, good restaurant.

The staff from front desk to housekeeping to the doormen and Tuk Tuk drivers. All were above expectations! I would highly recommend the Palace Gate Resort!

Beautiful hotel and great location.

Well located near Palace, restaurant was very good, and had a decent gym.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was large and good value, great pool with daily happy hour. Restaurant has a broad range of choices on the menu. Staff always attentive. Highly recommended.

So the positives, the hotel itself was very nice, the food was a good standard, and the staff for the most part were excellent. The upgrade we received, along with the bottle of wine as compensation for the issues below were greatly appreciated. If not for these issues, I would certainly recommend this hotel. However, unfortunately the two days that we spent at the Palace Gate were marred by a large male party celebrating a 40th birthday. Regrettably the management/staff had no idea how to address the poor behaviour and therefore did nothing. There was no consideration by this party of other guests, and as the behaviour and noise went unchecked (drinking heavily ftom 9 a.m.) it basically ruined the peaceful environment. In short management and staff need to be trained in how to act in such circumstances, as clearly they have not been.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The only thing to mention is that we were given clean towels daily even though we had hung them up which is not great for the environment.

Breakfast was amazing, loved the fresh soup every morning. All the staff were lovely - good happy hours at both pool bar and sky bar. So close to the royal palace and the riverside.
