We stayed 8 nights for a "locals" visit to our old haunts in Edinburgh and to meet up with friends. Did do some touristy things but mostly soaked in the beauty and vibes of a great northern city. The hotel was very central, convenient for rail travel, and surprisingly quiet.

A most excellent hotel with warm friendly staff, as we arrived we got an upgrade, never been before so would not know whet the other rooms are like, all in all an excellent stay, will definately return.

The property was conveniently located, and the staff were all very professional, friendly and helpful. We were upgraded. I loved the proximity to the train station and all the historical sites on the Royal Mile.
