The staff was very kind! Breakfast was delicious and had a good selection of fresh foods. the room was clean and spacious. The dinner food from the menu was fine but nothing special. There's also not much convenient to the hotel if you want to go out.

Very clean modern property with helpful staff. Near by restaurants with shopping.

Hotel staff was great. Breakfast was great. Was put in a room where the AC did not work. This was actually the second Hyatt house that I stayed at within a few days of each other Where our AC in the room did not work on days that were extremely hot. They seem to have these sensor systems that only run the AC when there’s movement in the room and then they have it set to a 78° temperature which doesn’t work when outside temperatures are well above the 90s… anyways they said that it would cool off in about a half an hour just like the other hotel told me so my partner and I went to the mall for three hours we came back. The room was still in the 80s so they immediately swapped us into another room which was ice cold and the rest of our stay was perfect from that point on. I don’t know if it’s bad luck that we got two rooms in two different Hyatt house locations where the AC didn’t work or if it’s these new systems that are not the greatest, but someone should look into that if others are complaining about the temperatures in their room.

The staff at the front desk, Michael and Sara were very polite, helpful and professional. The cleaning staff was helpful and so was the breakfast staff. The bed was super comfortable and the rooms were clean. The only thing I wish our room had was a microwave…besides that everything was great. I’ll definitely stay at this HP again!!!

Front desk was very helpful

The bathroom sink was not clean, but the staff immediately moved us to another room. That room’s bathroom sink was cracked in several places but clean. The bed also made a terrible squeaking sound when you initially sat down on it. However, the breakfast was delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious and quiet.

Loved my stay and the man George at the bar was super friendly made you feel right at home I highly recommend

Overall, the property was nice and clean. Although a bit noisy no doubt from the pipes. But also because of a yapping dog in a nearby room

Clean room and very spacious for double queen bed. Beds not as comfortable to sleep in but easier to get in than the typical high hotel bed. Staff was courteous and fulfilled request kindly. Overall not a bad experience.

The room temperature wouldn’t come down to set point. However, Poughkeepsie was dealing with 100 degree temperatures.
