Fabulous property…. Everything top notch.
Plenty of activities on the property from bike riding, golf, trap shooting, falconry, etc..
We stayed in Ashford Lodge which was just fine… you need a dinner / lunch reservation to get into the castle.

Rooms are on the level of Holiday Inn - basic with an uncomfortable bed and cramped shower.
Transfer from Castle: luggage didn’t arrive until bedtime.
Dinner staff was amazing and food was delicious and generous.
Pool is great - went early am and it was sparkling clean, huge with places to read a book on a cold rainy day. All amenities in the ladies bathroom except a comb…

The staff at the castle were exceptional. They went over and above to make sure they provided a wonderful stay for our family. The lodge rooms were superb, the grounds were gorgeous, and the dog walk was so fun! I cannot emphasize enough gratitude towards the staff. Thank you tor everything.
