Convenient area

Clean room, good amenities, close to metro via Taipei City Mall underground entrances. Close to good food, 7-eleven, etc. Bed was comfortable, sheets and blanket were clean. Bathroom was clean. Air conditioning worked well. Laundry on site but will need to ask staff to unlock door after paying; detergent included and unlimited dry time. Lobby has a microwave and free water machine. Overall an excellent hotel.

The staff are very friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the surroundings. I liked that the property is centrally located, there are many restaurants, malls, specialty shops, medical centers, pharmacies, 24 hour 7-11s and many other shops are within walking distances. Public transportation was a block or more away; the train systems, buses, uber-type vehicles, taxis were readily available. Most of the shops and malls we visited were within three to fifteen minutes away. Night markets were abundant and the food was scrumptious. The area really came alive with Mom and Pop stores from Tuesdays through the weekend. The area is dated but the hotel met our needs. I plan on revisiting. Toiletries are not supplied but 7-11 is light on the corner and prices are very affordable. Turns out that their convenience stores really are convenient.

We were NOT allowed to borrow spoons & forks thus we were not able to eat some fruits/sweets we bought during our tours. Other than this, the Puri Hotel Main Station was OK .

Location: It is convenient to get around the city as it's located near Taipei station. Staff: Staff were all friendly and kept our luggage after check-out. Room: The room was clean. The three of us stayed in a room for five people, so we found it spacious. However, it would feel small for five people.

Basic hotel with clean room , ok for 1 night stay , bit smell due to age of carpet and humidity

Front desk staff is friendly and speak English well. The room is spacious and clean.

The sound of fridge woke me through the night. Room number 105 fridge should fix it.
