Wonderful staff and nice rooms. Excellent food and a cozy atmosphere

Our stay was amazing

Well located on the cusp of Santa Monica and Venice Beach (both walkable in distance), we stayed in the ocean view king and our room was generous in size - you probably only get a view if on Level 5 and above. They are happy to replenish waters, but you have to request every day. No spa, just 2x pools (although one is referred to as a spa), however a great outdoor area.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. We loved the rooms, the bikes and the access to the beach. The bathroom was spacious with a lovely vanity area for make up. Beds incredibly comfortable it was quiet. However, the pools were absolutely tiny - the pictures are taken at an advantageous angle. Felt like a big bustling hotel, and not personal. We didn’t get welcome drinks, unlike advertised, and coffee makers don’t automatically come with the room: they have to be asked for. The in house restaurant was expensive. We enjoyed it, but the value for money wasn’t great.

Would have liked a little more “kept” up pool area. Not 5 star. I would rate this hotel as a regular Marriott style property not a luxury hotel.

Gym needs better padding on the floor … soundproofing. Constant thumping of dropped weights …. Constant. Otherwise apart from the miserable guy working the coffee bar both days , a good a great location and well maintained property.

The staff was great. The room was big and clean.

I loved staying at this property, the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and smelled amazing. There's an on ground restaurant and coffee shop which was very convenient. Just be aware its valet only and tye charge it 62 dollars a day. So that's something to keep in mind. However, where the hotel is located is absolutely perfect with the pier and lots of dining options and shopping just a short walk away.
