This is basic, but also the smell was disgusting. Every time I walked into my room there was a wall of wet carpet/wet dog smell. What was beyond frustrating was I had to compromise my privacy to get fresh air in there. That is to say, the windows were sealed shut, and the only way to get any air in was have my door open. I'm a single woman, above a pub, and I don't want to hear every noise in the hallway. Air conditioning is not fresh air, and not always the healthiest. The bathrooms weren't cleaned daily, I know because I remember stepping on the same bit of toilet paper on the floor 2 days running. Simple updates? Get tiled floors in the room, there are some great wooden looking knock-offs. Get some locked in hair dryers, straighteners curlers in the ladies bathrooms. 10% off voucher for breakfast downstairs would be a great way to stream people downstairs for food too.

Room service could have been a little bit more better bathrooms were not very clean toilet paper for toilets where empty four days but overall it was ok

Good value but pretty noisy on a Friday night

Basic but clean aircondioned room. Very comfy bed and pillow. Shared bathroom amenities in excellent condition and looked newly refurbished. Great price for an overnight stay.

IT was ok

Parking was available. Air con good.

Clean Rooms, well presented. Good location for public transport

Terrible place to stay & office staff aren’t good at there job. Ended up getting a refund & staying elsewhere that night. They charged me twice for the same room for one night & made it to be my problem. Isn’t the first time I’ve had trouble staying there with my booking

Me and my partner had a lovely stay at palm beach hotel. It was the perfect base for us to explore the gold coast for the very first time! Our room was big and we found the sink handy for brushing teeth/ washing face before bed without having to go into shared bathroom. That being said the shared bathrooms were modern and clean , very well maintained which we appreciated! Our room itself could definitely do with a face lift. A fresh lick of paint & some new furniture would really lift the property 😍 The bed was a bit too soft for us but that's people dependent, we also found it odd that we weren't actually given a duvet. All we were supplied with was a top sheet 🤔 The cleaning staff were super lovely and gave us fresh towels daily which we loved! Overall we had a great time here, only downside I would say is you have to go up stairs to get to rooms so if you're not able bodied you will struggle.

Paint peeling on the ceiling & flaking onto beds. Amenities needed cleaning. Hotel staff were friendly & helpful
