For somewhere to put your head down on a night its was adequate. Wonky mirrors, sink didnt drain and hair in the bed, but that apart everything else was what we expected. The hotel overlooked the canal partially, but mainly the bridge and tram stop. Being next to a tram stop gave great acces to the city. The cafe underneath was sublime though, excellent food, friendly staff. Only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Rembrandtplein (Rembrandt Square) for drinks and food. Overall the hotel was ok stay for a short break

Location is brilliant and staff were very helpful, however the place itself is a let down. It definitely needs renovation, there mould in the shower, all the doors and walls are marked/scratched. There's not such basic things as hand soap in the bathroom. Sink is so tiny you can't wash your face without water going everywhere. There are a lot of random sounds from other rooms, air-conditioning makes some weird bubbling noise. Glad I had earplugs with me. Bed was comfortable. But bedding itself, as well as towels, were clean but very worn. Most expensive room per square metre too, I believe. There's barely any space to move and the only way to open your suitcase is if you put it on your bed, which is far from ideal. Wouldn't stay there again.

Rooms looked tired, windows in need of repair, overall cleaning needs to be improved, flooring damaged.

Hotel did not provide even the basics. There was not hand soap, no hand towel or floor towel. And although we asked several times each day we had to ask again and again to get them. Some lights were broken so room was not properly lightened. The hotel looks badly maintained. I would definitely not stay again.

The room was filthy. The dead bugs on the ceiling, mould in the bathroom and who only knows what has been smudged over all the walls. The window frames had holes in it . They do not provide hand soap and take away you floor mat for the bathroom and do not replace it . The “matress” was more of a yoga mat ( not kidding, it was seriously thin). If that’s not enough, you will not get any sleep what so ever with the street noise, trams, cars, busses, smashing glass and people . Unfortunately this was a last minute booking for me and I didn’t get time to look around for a better place Some serious money and care needs to be put into this place to bring it upto a better standard DO NOT STAY HERE

No kettle. No coffee. No working phone. No telly. Fire alarm went off twice in one night. No explanation.

Excellent location, in light of price it should be cleaner and amenities more complete

Slightly dirty walls, old worn towels, bed sheets. Everything was good and was a cheap hotel, so good value. Good location!

Room 203 had a lot of black mold. We will be submitting a complaint with hotel management.

Brilliant staff every time, very happy with this hotel will always use them when in amstwrdam the staff are brilliant 👏
