This is a budget hotel, keenly priced and you get what you pay for. There's no wardrobe or cupboards, just a few shelves. The 'double' bed is two singles pushed together. Would have helped if they had been the same size/height. Two pillows ok for me as a single person. It's a bit out of town - 20 minute or so walk to the fortress, a 25 minute or so walk to the town but only a 20-25 euro taxi ride to the airport. The hotel is on a main road but I had a room at the back and didn't hear anything. The air conditioning is adequate. There is a TV and shower. It was clean. It's all basic but sufficient. The money I saved I spent on food and wine. Pas de problem!

We had a pleasant two-night stay overall. My daughter especially loved sleeping in the bunk bed, which was a fun experience for her. The room was on the small side, but the bed was large, comfortable, and provided a good night’s sleep. There are a couple of areas that could be improved. The ventilation in the bathroom seemed a bit weak, and the shower area was designed with a very flat entrance, which made it easy for water to flow out onto the bathroom floor during showers. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the comfortable accommodation.

This is a budget hotel so it really doesn't have any frills. It suited me fine because it was clean and I had a comfortable sleep. It was great value for money. The breakfast is really good even though there are no cooked elements to it. The staff are helpful. I appreciated that. If you're staying for a night or two it's fine but it wouldn't be ideal for a longer stay. Plus, it is quite a long walk from the historic centre. However, there is a regular bus service.

With a little bit of acclamation this is a perfect spot... I think anyone will be pleased with it

The room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ideally, I would have just liked the hotel to be closer to La Cite. There is a handy Lidl store.

Extremely impressed. I need my stuff to be clean so I will spot the tiniest things. The bed was extremely clean and rather comfortable. Shower did the job and not that far of a walk to the City / Castle area. You’ve also got Lidl 10 mins away if you need to buy basics like toothpaste, water or a couple snacks. Staff were wonderful both check-in and checkout. They both went above and beyond and were super welcoming. I’ll definitely be considering this exact hotel again if I pop down to Carcassonne again. Merci!

Nice clean rooms

Clean room and friendly staff. Easy check in

It was inexpensive and about a 10 minute to 15 minute walk to the medieval walled city. Breakfast was Continental with the usual pastries, toast, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice, and cold cuts. The room was good. The water in the shower was hot so no complaints.
